I bought the USB2-HUB-AG7 7-Port USB 2.0 Hub, but only see 5 USB outgoing ports. All the packaging talks about 7 outgoing ports. I need 6.

Thanks for posting your question here! The Plugable 7 Port USB 2.0 Hub has five ports on the sides and two upward facing ports which are placed under a slider cover near the LEDs.
If you push the slider cover open as shown in the image below, you will see the two remaining ports.
