Not using full area of Monitors!

HP Folio 9480M Windows 7 Enterprise. New install of the UD-3900 onto this machine using the drivers for Win7 on website. I cannot get the monitors to fully use the screen area. The max resolution of the Laptop is 1600 x 900. Using two monitors in addition to the laptop. Both monitors the scaling options are greyed out in the menus built into the monitors (using monitor buttons). How do I get to use the full screen of the monitors?

Note previously was using a Yoga 2 Pro with Windows 10 and the win 10 drivers from pluggable site. New work computer is not the one above (Win 7)

The next step will be to examine some log files from your system and as we don’t want those posted publicly I will send you instructions for using our diagnostic utility PlugDebug directly and we’ll go from there.
