my plugable is not detecting my monitor - is there something I can do?

Could you run the DisplayLink support tool (instructions here: http://plugable.com/support/displayli… ) and email the .zip to email@example.com. along with a link to this thread and your Amazon Order ID?
This would give us a better insight as to what is going on. Once we analyze it, we can figure out the next steps.

For the benefit of anyone who is interested-:
The DisplayLink drivers that are required for the functioning of Graphics port of the Plugable Docking Station UD-160-A was not installed on Jon’s system.
Installing the drivers fixed the issue. The OS detected the external monitor and the display came on.
