Not able to connect second monitor

I have two monitors connected to my Dell Inspiron 5767 laptop:

  1. Dell with HDMI that works fine with the Plugable USB 3 HDMI
  2. Samsung with VGA and HDMI connections. Does not work using either VGA/DVI or HDMI/DVI.connectors

Any idea why the Plugable USB3 doesn’t see my Samsung monitor? Any help will be appreciated.

Never mind. I was able to fix it unplugging the Plugable USB 3, connecting first the Samsung monitor via HDMI/DVI connector and then Dell monitor via HDMI.
