No USB audio device shows up in the Sound devices.

Just received the plugable USB Docking and No USB audio device shows up in the Sound devices. everyrhing else works fine

Thanks for posting - let’s see what might be wrong. Are you on Windows 7?

Can you say what audio devices are present in the “Sound” control panel (e.g. how does it deviate from what’s expected: http://plugable.com/2010/10/28/howto-… )

If you’re not seeing the “USB Multimedia Audio Device”, could you go do Windows’ Device Manager (which provides more detail), and see if the device is there, and whether there is any errors visible?
