no internet connection on UD-3900

i can get Wi-Fi on my surface pro 4 , but no internet through the UD-3900. even with Wi-Fi turned off.

I have great multi-video.

Thanks for posting! Based on your description I have a few quick questions for you…

Can you let me know the status of both the lights on the Ethernet port of the dock when the cable is plugged in? Typically you should see a solid green light and a flashing amber light.

You may have already tried this, but would you happen to have another Ethernet cable to swap in and test with to help rule out a faulty cable?

By any chance is there a VOIP phone connected between the docking station and the network connection in the wall? If there is, can you remove the phone from the setup temporarily and connect the cable directly from the wall to the dock to see if that changes the behavior?
