No Image on new microscope

LEDs work after installing software.
No image appears after reboot.
Should I return this unit to Amazon?

Thanks for reaching out to us about this. I’m sorry for the trouble, and I’d be glad to help you. Just so I am clear, the lights on the microscope are working, but you aren’t able to see the image?

First, I would suggest to check and make sure that Privacy Permissions are properly set to allow access to the microscope using the steps in this article: https://kb.plugable.com/question/624633, and then let’s check for the image again in the Digital Viewer.

If that doesn’t work, let’s give the default Camera app a try if you’re on Windows, or Photobooth if you’re on Mac. I hope this helps, and I look forward to hearing back from you!
