NO anniversary celebrating from me

How can I get my plugable digital 250X Cam working since the so called upgrade? I desperately need a fix as I rely on that cam to work everyday. Waiting for Microsoft to come up with a solution does me no good today or tomorrow. Does anyone know of a workaround? There is not enough power coming from the port now to support the camera. I was trying to revert back to an earlier driver solution but after downloading a message claiming it had already been run prevents it from opening. I don’t know what to do and I desperately need my camera to work. Can anyone help me?
