Night light Issue - checked obvious solutions

Anyone aware of problem with Night Light settings running two displays through Display Link on Plugable UD 3900H

System information:
Dell Inspiron 5759 X64-based Laptop - 16 GB RAM
BIOS Version/Date Dell Inc. 1.4.1, 12/8/2017

Windows 10 Operating system - Version 10.0.16299 Build 16299

Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-6500U CPU @ 2.50GHz, 2601 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)

1GB Intel® HD Graphics 520

Display Link running two Samsung monitors - (1 Landscape) via HDMI to DVI adapter cable (2 Portrait) via available DVI connection

Hello, thanks for posting! Unfortunately, the Night Light feature and some other display color enhancement applications do not work with DisplayLink based devices. DisplayLink support speaks to this regarding Night Light in a support suggestion here –> https://support.displaylink.com/forum… if curious.

As a workaround, DisplayLink does claim on the same page that the f.lux application (which is similar to Night Light) can work with DisplayLink.

I am sorry that we cannot be of more help in getting Night Light working when using our dock due to these limitations.

Thank you very much David. I’m glad it isn’t something I’ve done (or not done) that’s causing the problem. It also keeps me from obsessing on finding a “solution.”
