After your purchase via Amazon, you should have received a ‘Thank you’ email from us with a link to instructions for downloading and installing the driver for the dock. In case that email did not reach you, here is the link –> http://plugable.com/drivers/displaylink
In general, you would install the driver and when prompted by the installation process connect your docking station to your Surface and any monitors attached to the dock should start working.
