Transferring all my stuff from my old computer to a new one using easy transfer cable do I connect the old, or new to the monitor before I I connect the cable? I have one monitor. I suspect both computers must be powered up before I start the transfer?

Thanks for posting with your question, I’ll be happy to help.
It will be necessary to get both computers up and running simultaneously, you’ll have several steps where you have to go back and forth between PC’s, so having both systems connected to a monitor is necessary. It can be done with one monitor if you just move it back and forth as needed, however this can slow you down and be frustrating. My best advice is to see if someone can loan you a monitor temporarily.
