New Dell laptop won't boot with Plugable USB 3.0 Connected

I just bought a new Dell Laptop ( Dell Inspiron Plus 16" Laptop - 11th Gen Intel Core i7-11800H, Blue ) and the Laptop gets stuck at the Dell Logo screen when booting up if the UD-3900 docking station is connected to the USB port. Is there a way to fix this so I can use the docking station?

Hi Mario,

Thank you for contacting Plugable! I am sorry to hear that your docking station is not functioning as expected, and would be happy to provide additional support.

As a first step, could you kindly try removing all USB devices from the dock, then attempt to boot up the laptop? I ask because it can be the case that the host system sees a USB storage device and tries to boot from it (or other related errors).

If that does not resolve the issue, may I ask you to please keep the device connected to your laptop and everything still attached (even if not working as expected) and send us the output of our diagnostic utility PlugDebug? → https://plugable.com/pages/plugdebug

Once you have the logs, simply send an email to support@plugable.com with the subject line of “Ticket 353881” so that we can prioritize that case and match it to this inquiry.

If you could provide your Amazon Order ID (or other proof of purchase) associated with your Plugable device, I would be happy to check on your warranty status as well.

Thank you for giving us the chance to help!
