new adapter; extra monitor FLICKERS when computer has been idle for a few hours

I purchased for my windows 7 64 bit USB-2 machine, your Plugable UGA-2K-A USB 2.0 to VGA/DVI/HDMI Adapter for Windows…when the machine sits for awhile ie overnight or a few hours and I sign in - the extra monitor “flickers” for a good 30-45 seconds before it stabilizes. How can I fix this ? I don’t think I can change the refresh rate

If you could please send the resulting files to support@plugable.com, we’ll be able to take a look at those logs and see what may be causing this flickering behavior.
