Hi,
I have a USB-C 4k docking station and am having a few issues.
The network adapter was initially working but now I don’t see any lights when I plug the cable in. I’ve tried various cables and confirmed the cables are ok.
When I use the HDMI port the screen is shaky and offset. Again, the monitor (Samsung C24F390) cand cable werew checked, they work fine directly plugged into my laptop (Lenovo Carbon Gen 6 with Intel UHD Graphics 620 running Windows 11).
Finally, if I use a plugable active DP adaptor for the monitor instead it’s not even detecting it.
I followed the steps from other threads to remove the displaylink apps and run the displaylink cleaner, rebooted then installed the displaylink drivers.
Thanks for contacting us! I am sorry this is not working as expected.
Based on your description of the behavior, our first step is to get some additional information from your system to check for out of date drivers or incompatible software and to see how the docking station is being detected by the computer. For example if the DisplayLink software is not loading correctly it can cause the two DisplayPort outputs to not function correctly and disable the network port.
If you would, please keep the dock connected to the computer with monitor(s) connected tot he docking station (even though one may not be working) and attach the output of our diagnostic utility PlugDebug ( http://plugable.com/support/plugdebug ) to an email to ‘support@plugable.com’ with the subject line ‘Ticket #369293 - Attention Pat’ as this will allow us to examine some log files from your system to help determine the next steps.
We’re closing this thread due to inactivity, but if you have any further questions please feel free to contact support@plugable.com and we’ll be happy to help.
