My Plugable USB3-SATA-U3 wont show up on WIN 10 with my Samsung 870 EVO 1TB SSD

Thank you for reaching out to us, I am sorry this hard drive docking station is not compatible with some modern SATA SSDs.
This docking station has been discontinued and the chipset has not been updated by the manufacturer to support newer SSDs. We specifically called this out on our product page for this docking station here ( https://archive.plugable.com/products/usb3-sata-u3/ ) at the top of the FAQ section:
Q: Is this dock compatible with the Samsung 840 & 850 EVO series of SSDs?
A: No, the Samsung 840 & 850 EVO SSDs do not work with the ASM1051E chipset in this docking station. If you have a Samsung 840 or 850 EVO SSD, consider our newer USB3-SATA-UASP1 docking station instead.
For modern SATA SSDs we recommend our replacement USB-C Vertical Hard Drive Dock USBC-SATA-V ( https://plugable.com/products/usbc-sata-v ). This hard drive dock supports USB 3.1 Gen 1 (5Gbps) and USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10Gbps) host systems with either USB-C or USB Standard-A ports ( using two provided cables ).
I am sorry the USB3-SATA-U3 is incompatible with modern SATA SSDs, please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help.
