My model USB3-HUB7-81X does not work with my Raspberry Pi Model B.

It will work with my Windows 7 Laptop, but not the Raspberry Pi.

Hi Tyler,

Thanks for posting here! USB HID devices like Mice and Keyboards are known not to work with the Raspberry Pi when connected through the Plugable 7 Port USB 3.0 Hub or the Plugable 4 Port USB 3.0 Hub.

We do mention this fact in our post that lists our devices that are compatible with Raspberry Pi at http://plugable.com/2012/10/25/raspbe…

As the Raspberry Pi also does not have any special support for USB 3.0, there are no advantages with using a USB 3.0 Hub with it. The hub that we recommend using with Raspberry Pi is our Plugable 7 Port USB 2.0 Hub.

If you did buy the Plugable 7 Port USB 3.0 Hub to use exclusively with the Raspberry Pi, I’d recommend using using our 30 day hassle free return policy to return this unit to amazon for a refund and get our Plugable 7 Port USB 2.0 Hub once the refund is through.

Hope the above information helps! If you need any additional information, please do feel free to shoot us an email at suppor@plugable.com. We are here to help!

Regards,
Roze
