I am sorry to hear this. Sounds like you have a corrupts usb.inf fie on your system. Please back up all your files and create a system restore point before embarking on this procedure in case something goes wrong.
Disconnect the USB hub form your computer. Open an explorer window and type the following into the bar -> C:\Windows\system32\DriverStore\FileRepository\ and browse to a folder labeled usb.inf_randomstringofnumbers where the randomstringofnumber is a random arrangement of numbers and letters. Copy the content of this folder into -> C:\Windows\INF. Reattach the USB hub and test.
