Multiple External Displays with 2017 Macbook Pro

I have a Macbook pro 13" 2017 with 2 USBC ports. Using the ud-ultcdl how do I get two external monitors to display? I can only get one to work with the HDMI 4K link no matter what I try to do. No other ports for display seem active.

thanks
Mark

Hello Mark,

Sorry to hear about this issue. I’d be happy to help.

Did you install the required DisplayLink drivers from our website? They control the 2K HDMI and DVI ports:
http://plugable.com/drivers/displaylink

Also take a look here:

Thank you,

Josh - We did install the drivers as required and only the 4K HDMI port appears active at all. Can get no connection to a monitor through the other display ports.

thanks

Hi Mark,

Thanks for the info!

And you did check the second link above to ensure that Gatekeeper isn’t blocking the driver?

If so, and it’s not blocking the drivers, we may need to grab a system report:
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203001 (instructions to save are near the bottom)

You can email the report to us at support@plugable.com

Thanks,
Josh
