Mouses freezes

Hi,

Purchased the plugable USB 2.0 yesterday. Received it today and already using it. Works extremely well, my only complaint is that the mouse seems to lock up for a few seconds every now and then. Any ideas?

My Machine is a Dell XPS 8500. Intel Core I7-3770 - 16gb Ram, Windows 7 64bit.
