Mouse cursor lag when using the UD-ULTCDL to connect my monitor

Hello! I will try to summarize the situation.

I’m using a 16" macbook pro, one of the intel versions, running Catalina (this also happens on Big Sur)
My mouse is a Logitech MX Master 2S connected to the laptop via bluetooth
I have one device plugged into the dock, which is a 4k LG 27" monitor. The dock is then connected to my laptop via USB-C.

Problem: the mouse cursor is lagging on the external display. More precisely, the cursor does not move smoothly on it, it is as if the monitor has low ‘frames per second’. If I move the mouse onto the mac’s display, it moves smoothly with ‘high FPS’. If I connect the same monitor to the mac using the USB type C cable, everything is smooth - this problem only happens when using the dock.

Anything I can try? It is annoying enough to not be able to use the dock, unfortunately.

Hi Nishant,

Thank you for contacting Plugable! I am sorry to hear that your UD-ULTCDL docking station is not functioning as expected, and would be happy to provide additional support.

To help diagnose the issue, may I ask you to please keep the device connected to your laptop and everything still attached (even if not working as expected) and send us the output of our diagnostic utility PlugDebug? → https://plugable.com/pages/plugdebug

Once you have the logs, simply send an email to support@plugable.com with the subject line of “Ticket 382974” so that we can prioritize that case and match it to this inquiry.

If you could provide your Amazon Order ID (or other proof of purchase) associated with your Plugable device, I would be happy to check on your warranty status as well.

Thank you for giving us the chance to help!
