Hi guys, I’m thinking of ordering 2
USB 3.1 TYPE-C TO DISPLAYPORT ADAPTER CABLE for MacBookPro 15" 2017
I’ve already got 2x Dell U2417HM with USB 3.0 integrated hubs. Do I loose their connectivity with mentioned cable?
Cheers

Hi Ivan,
Thanks for contacting us, I am happy to help!
The USB 3.0 hub in the monitor has a separate USB 3.0 cable for connecting to the computer.
One solution to this configuration is to use a USB Type-C to USB 3.0 Type-A Female adapter ( https://plugable.com/products/usbc-af3 ) to connect your current USB 3.0 cable from one monitor to the Macbook. The second monitor can have its USB 3.0 cable connected to one port on the back of the first monitor and daisy chain the USB hubs together.
This setup will require using at least three Type-C ports on the MacBook Pro.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
