I randomly get a monitor that flashes like it was disconnected then reconnected. I’ve troubleshoot a little bit, and swapped the ports with another monitor and the issue follows the port not the monitor. The port in question is HDMI 1 8k. And it looks like this port is not used by Display Link, the dock is connected to a Macbook Air M2 running MacOS 26.2
I also notice it happens more frequently when i’m actively doing something in that monitor. If I leave it for a while, it won’t flash. I would say it flashes around 1-2 times per hour, but it’s pretty inconsistent
