Hi, I am having a lot of difficulty getting my HDMI monitor to stay connected. Every time I need to reboot I have to do multiple attempts at reinstalling the display link software before it finally catches and then I can only use it in duplicate mode.
windows OS will start disconnecting items if the the computer is not being use for several hours time and causes the Plugable USB 3.0 with the second monitor requiring a reboot.
It’s not that it is disconnecting based on not being used it become completely un-connectable every time I have to reboot.
Thanks for posting. I’d be happy to help with your docking station.
I see that you also reached out to us directly via our direct email support channel. I will continue to work with you directly as I’ll want to examine some log files. Expect an email from me shortly…
