I recently purchased an Acer monitor, and I connected it to my MacBook Pro using a VGA to USB-c cord. The monitor appeared to be normal color at first, but after a few minutes, it switched over to a yellow tint, and I haven’t been able to fix it. I know the VGA cord isn’t the issue because it worked perfectly fine with my other monitor, and my other VGA cord still resulted in a yellow tint.
I have been experimenting with the display settings on the mac, but they are kind of limited. I made sure to turn off the “automatically adjust brightness” and “true tone” settings as well. When I customized a color profile using the “native white point”, the tint was still there. In addition, I have tried all of the other color profiles, but to no avail. I have tried everything that I know of.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
