Doing the updates breaks the displays. You can see the mouse but that is it. It is a black screen.
We received a direct support email at support@plugable.com, as well, and addressed this issue via email.
To share with others, while we do not recommend our UD-3900 dock for use with Mac systems this was resolved by uninstalling the DisplayLink drivers within macOS by disconnecting the dock and following this guide –> https://plugable.com/drivers/displaylink/mac/#uninstall and rebooting the system once completed.
Then installing the DisplayLink version 5.0.1 drivers from DisplayLink here –> http://www.displaylink.com/downloads/file?id=1257 and then connecting the dock to the system helped restore the image to the monitors.
