Mid 2009 Macbook Pro, two monitors

I have a 15" MacBook Pro (Mid 2009; 2.66 GHz intel Core 2 Duo; 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3 RAM; NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256 MB graphics).

I want to connect two 22" Hanns-G monitors. HSG1041 1680 x 1050 (16:10/Wide Aspect Ratio)
The first I will use a Mini DisplayPort to DVI
What will be the best USB to DVI adapter? I am assuming because of the age of my macbook that it will have to be a graphics adapter. will usb 3.0 work or no?

Also is there an adapter that has a KVM switch built in?
I have a PC in my office as well and ideally I would love to have both monitors connected to both my PC and Mabook pro at the same time and just be able to switch back and forth easily with a switch.

Thanks very much.

Hi Ali,

Thanks for reaching out to us, I’d be more than happy to answer your question regarding our products.

Unfortunately, we do not recommend that you use any of our products with OS X, as the DisplayLink drivers needed for the display adapters and docking stations have less than stellar performance on OS X.

Presently, our USB display products are not the best fit for users on OS X.
