Microscope Light not working

Recently installed the Plugable desktop microscope and now the LED does not work to light the work surface. Running Windows 10 Enterprise.

Are you able to see an image in the preview window when you launch Digital Viewer or another webcam app and select the microscope? Also, is the LED control wheel rotated fully to the right?

no image in the preview window when using Digital Viewer, but does with with another webcam app.

yes, the light did work with using the other app
