Photos of insects come out dark. Is there a way to control the brightness of the microscope light? I have software version 3.1.07 for Windows 10.
Hello Greg,
Thanks for reaching out and posting on our Get Satisfaction forums! I apologize for the issue you’re experiencing, but will be happy to help!
If you have the Plugable 250x USB Digital Microscope (https://plugable.com/products/usb2-mi…), there will be a small grey wheel at the top of the microscope (above the band to adjust focus) to adjust the LED brightness. That wheel should have a light bulb on either side of it, and sliding it to the left will dim the LEDs while sliding it to the right will brighten it.
If you have the Plugable 800x USB Digital Microscope (https://plugable.com/products/usb2-mi…), there is a small black slider/switch at the top of the microscope. Tilt that slider to the left to dim the LEDs and tilt it to the right to increase the brightness.
Hope this information helps, but if you have further questions please let me know!
Regards,
Patrick
