MBP 15 (late 2013) Thunderbolt 2 port to TBT3-UD1-83 Thunderbolt 3 dock?

Can I connect my MBP 15 (late 2013) via one of its Thunderbolt 2 ports to an Apple Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter and then onwards to the UD1-83 TB3 dock?

I understand I’ll be limited to TB2 speeds but will all legacy ports on the dock work correctly? Can I display a second monitor from the DisplayPort++?

Hi Martin,

To your question, using the TBT3-UD1-83 dock with the Apple Thunderbolt 3 to 2 adapter is not supported nor have we tested such a configuration. We only recommend using our dock with a system that has Thunderbolt 3 support built-in.
