MacBook Pro USB-C to 4k with charging

I need a hub for a MacBook Pro 2017 (only USB-C) to connect a 4k monitor over DisplayPort (like the LG Electronics 27UD58-B) and additionally charge the MacBook. I want to get home and just attach this one cable, and not multiple of them. But I am quite confused about all the available hubs on your website. Please point me to the right product. Additional USB-A connectors and/or ethernet would be great but it’s not mandatory if the price get’s high because of that. Thanks.

Hi Darko,

Thanks for your interest in our products. It actually sounds like you’re more interested in a docking station than a hub.

I would recommend our TBT3-UDV which is our flagship Thunderbolt 3 dock with 60W charging. It is fully compatible with your MacBook Pro with Thunderbolt 3 and has a DisplayPort output for your monitor supporting up to 4K @ 60Hz.

Thanks, that’s exactly what I need. It’s just to expensive. Isn’t there something cheaper just for my usecase whithout all the extras? One 4k monitor and charging?

Darko

Hello Darko,

Unfortunately we do not offer anything cheaper at this time unless you don’t mind only having 4K @ 30Hz instead of 60Hz.
