Hello,

Thank you for contacting Plugable! I’m sorry your Plugable product is not working as expected, and am happy to help you with this.

When connecting a Plugable DisplayLink docking station to a MacBook, there are some additional steps required beyond just installing the driver software. We have detailed instructions to help with this (please be sure to pay close attention to the “Screen Recording” permission, as this is required to allow video output over DisplayLink. The DisplayLink Manager App, does not actually record your screen.). Instructions for macOS 10.15+ are located here → https://kb.plugable.com/questions/799275

If your issue persists after following these steps, can you please contact us directly through our support email? support@plugable.com (Please reference ticket # 358102).

Again, apologies for the trouble.
