M2 Macbook Air - UD-ULTC4K - edges cut off

M2 Macbook Air
Ventura 13.2.1
DisplayLink 1.8.0 (Build 63.136)

I have this connected to 2 monitors and 1 tv.
2 monitors Lenovo G27q-20
1 tv LG OLED48CXPUB

Lenovo monitors are perfectly fine, however the tv, which is the main monitor, gets cut off on all edges…I can only see half of the top task bar. I’ve tried to turn down and up the resolution and nothing seems to show the full screen. I’ve gone in and tried to find the ‘fit to tv’ settings on the tv, and while I dont have that exact setting, I am able to zoom in/out and adjust the screen. However, fully zoomed out still cuts off the screen.

Hi Nathan,

Thanks for reaching out to Plugable support! I’d be happy to help with that.

From the sound to put you’re describing, it would appear that you’re dealing with an over scan issue for the TV. Many TVs will cut off part of the image around the borders to make room for types of data encoding that are standardly used for things like closed captions.

Typically, these settings can be found in the TV menu under scaling, or aspect ratio settings.

Hope this information helps to resolve the issue.

Found the issue by changing the input to be PC instead of TV…following this video:
