We’ve been using these docks for over a year now.
Everything looked fine until we upgraded our internet, we realised it was topping out around 500Mb both up and down. I can see this was an issue around a year ago, you were waiting for apple to release some new drivers…
I’m running macOS Sonoma 14.3.1

Although it is a different dock, the ethernet chipset is the same.
