Hi, I didn’t see anything matching this, but I was wondering if Pluggable docking stations support Linux.
Hi Clayton,
Thank you for posting!
The only docking station Plugable offers that is supported on the Linux platform is our USB-C Docking Station known as the UD-CA1A → https://plugable.com/products/ud-ca1a
Please note that in order for the UD-CA1A to work, the host system must have a USB-C port built-in to the laptop that supports USB Power Delivery (charging), VESA Alt Mode video (video output) and data transfer. We have a compatibility table on the product page that provides information for those systems which we have information.
Our Thunderbolt 3, other USB-C, and USB 3.0 DisplayLink-based docking stations are not supported under Linux.
Thank you,
Bob
