final solution was to replace usb.inf file. How to do that and where to get this file?

Thanks for posting here! Here is the link to download usb.inf for Windows 7: https://plugable.zendesk.com/attachme… . You would have to unzip the folder and copy the usb.inf file to the \windows\inf\ directory .
