Lenovo Laptop IdeaPad 320 Isnt working with Plugable USB-C Triple Display

As the title states i cannot get the dock to work on my new lenovo ideapad 320.

I have downloaded the drivers and installed them but still get no response from the dock.

The light is blue and nothing connected to the dock works.

I have also tried resetting the dock like the troubleshooter suggests.

any help would be much appreciated.
