Lack of speed when using Plugable USB 3.1 Gen 2 Dock

Plugable SATA HD dock model:USBC SATA-V transferring files at 25MB/s, when HHD is pluged into SATA port onMB same files transfer at 85-90MB/s. Using USBc 3.1 cable and plug on back of MB for Plugable dock.

I had a look at your system logs that you supplied via email, and replied there as well. Pasting below in case you happen to check here before you see the email:

Very unusual to see this performance discrepancy. Couple quick questions when you have a moment:

  1. Which model of HDD are you using, and which tests are being run which exhibit the speed difference? (Or is it more of a real-world scenario with slow file copy operations?)

  2. It looks like your mainboard has both a USB 3.1 Type-C connector and a 3.1 Type-A connector (teal in color, above the ā€œCā€ port). Is the performance the same on the Type A connector?
