Is the “Plugable USB 2.0 Universal Docking Station with DisplayLink” compatible with a KVM switch?

I would not recommend it with a old-style VGA-PS/2 kbd/mouse switch. It may work, but I’m nervous because the extra hop to USB might confusing things (e.g. what mode the USB graphics should be in, when the VGA input keeps switching between two different monitors).
But a very clean solution where there should be no compatibility issues, is with any standard USB switches, like this 3rd party one that we sell: http://www.amazon.com/Nu-USB-Share-Sw…
