` key inputs § instead on BT-KEY3XL bluetooth keyboard

On this keyboard, when I press ` , it inputs § instead. Otherwise the rest of the keys seem fine. On another keyboard the ` key works as expected.

How do I get the ` key to work properly on the BT-KEY3XL keyboard?

I’m connected to a 2023 MacBook Pro running Mac OS 13.6.2 by USB.

Input source is set to US. I went through the keyboard setup in Mac OS to press they keys to the sides of the shift buttons.
