Hi Caitac - Thanks for asking! Yes, $99 was a launch promotion for our USB 3.0 Universal Laptop Docking Station (http://plugable.com/products/ud-3000/ ).

As stock has gone down, we’ve had to float up the price.

Over time, we expect to be able to return to $99, but it likely will be a matter of months, not weeks, because of the sales rate of this product.
