Is there a way for me to monitor communications through my PL-2302 so that I can troubleshoot the software that is using the serial port?

I was wondering if there was a registry setting or anything that would allow me to tell the device to log all communication through it to disk or other options so I can troubleshoot software that might be using the COM1 port that I have assigned to the PL-2302. Thank you.

Actually, we don’t have a supported way to do that, but there are 3rd party solutions out there.

Here’s one that’s an open source project:
