Is the UBS2-E1000 supported for Lion (Mac OSX 10.7)?

I tried installing the AX88178 drivers for 10.6 and it doesn’t look like the install completed. Is ASIX going to release new drivers for Lion?

Yes, our USB 2.0 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter (http://plugable.com/products/usb2-e1000/ ) works well on Lion based on all testing so far. You do need the latest ASIX driver download, and the driver install process can be a little confusing, so we’ve posted a step-by-step with screenshots here:

Based on what you described, I’d make sure that after clicking the .dmg file, you then go to that newly opened image and run the installer proper - that part can be confusing.
