Is it possible to run 2 Acer H277HU monitors at 2560 x1440?

We have a couple of these monitors sitting around but I had to downgrade the resolution to get them to work together. Is there a wiring scenario to get both of them to 2560 x 1440?

Hello and thanks for posting!

A few quick questions for you based on your description…

  1. Can you confirm you are using our Thunderbolt 3 Docking Station with Charging (TBT3-UDV → https://plugable.com/products/tbt3-udv)? I know you have posted within that category in our forum, however I just want to make sure I have the details correct.

  2. Can you confirm what types of video cables and/or adapters you are using to connect each display to the dock?

For example, a DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable (a cable with a DisplayPort connector on both ends) connected to the dock’s built-in DisplayPort output for the first display. For the second display, a USB-C to DisplayPort cable (such as our product → https://plugable.com/products/usbc-dp) connected to the dock’s downstream Thunderbolt 3 port.

Thank you,

Bob

Thanks, Bob, we are going to try the USB-C to DP cable you suggested. I’ve tried just about every other scenario and cable but I didn’t know that cable existed.
