Internet Dial up connection

I installed all the programs needed and have the USB D cable listed under network preferences by I’m not sure what is meant by the internet dial up connection. What is it’s use and how do your create that connection?

Thanks for posting your question here, I’ll be able to help. It sounds like you may have the Plugable USB to Serial cable connected to a Mac. Is that true? The Internet Dial-up connection isn’t related to the Serial cable or any Plugable Products.

If you are working on getting a serial device connected to a Mac with the Plugable USB to Serial cable, take a look at the following page, it has all the details for installation of the USB to Serial on Mac OS X.
