I purchased a UD-3900 but am having installation issues. Can you help?

Thanks for posting!

You reached out to us directly, but as an update, here is what we replied with:

Let’s go through the following process to make sure everything is in a good state:

  1. Disconnect your USB docking station (including the power adapter) from your system and keep it disconnected until the last step

  2. Uninstall any and all software with ‘DisplayLink’ in the title that is present from within the Control Panel → Programs and Features. Don’t worry if these entries are not present or if the process does not work, just move onto the next step

  3. Download and run the DisplayLink Installation Cleaner from here

  4. Reboot the system, even if not prompted

  5. Download and install the latest DisplayLink driver from here

6a Connect the monitors and any USB devices to your docking station
6b Connect the power adapter to your docking station
6c Connect the included USB cable from the rear of the docking station to your PC

If that doesn’t help, please let us know and we can take the next steps from there.
