The Plugable DisplayPort to HDMI Active Adapter is our recommended option for converting between DisplayPort and HDMI ( https://plugable.com/products/dp-hdmi/ ).

This device allows for the full functionality up to 4K output with audio. Passive adapters will be limited to lower resolutions.
