i plug into a 4k television but it only comes as 1080P.If I look at the adapter setting it only goes up to 1080P

The display seems to only be sending a 1080P image not a 4K.

Could you please let us know the make/model of computer and make/model of TV you’re using? Also, please let us know which HDMI port on the TV is being used. (On some models only certain specific HDMI ports will allow 4K.)
