I have an thinkpad with linuxmint (KDE) which docking station supports linux?

ThinkPad T440 with Linux installed. Currently Linuxmint KDE.
But I sometimes switch to different distributions.

Is there a plugable docking station that supports linux.

Hi Raymond,

Thanks for posting, and I would be happy to answer your question!

While Plugable officially supports Linux with many of our products, we do not support Linux with our USB 3.0 docking stations or USB 3.0 video adapters.

That said, DisplayLink (the maker of the chips we use in our products and author of all the drivers) have released a driver for Ubuntu Linux on their website here http://www.displaylink.com/downloads/…. As of today that driver is officially compatible with Ubuntu 14.04 and 16.04 only, and some of our customers have reported it works with our products but there can be problems.

DisplayLink has a knowledge base here for more info: http://support.displaylink.com/knowle… as well as a forum where they are soliciting feedback and providing support directly here -> http://displaylink.org/forum/forumdis…

Hopefully that information helps!
