I am using a usb2-switch2. The switch works intermittently. Any suggestions. If I can't get it to work, I will have to return it.

  1. I have switching the A/B plugs.
  2. Plugging the printer directly into the laptop, which works fine. Only when i use the switch does the printer go off line.
  3. The weird thing is that it works intermittently for some reason.
  4. I am using a macbook pro with iOS 10.10.5.

I am sorry to hear this. I am guessing you are sharing the printer between two Macs. Are you using the supplied USB cables to connect the USB switch to your Macs? How long is the USB cable that connects the printer to the USB switch?
