How to disable sleep mode on a Communicator U3 docking station?

Hi.

Just bought a Communicator U3 docking station and it seems to work OK but the dock appears to go into sleep mode after a certain amount of time.

Is there a way to disable sleep mode? I want the dock to be always available.

Thanks for contacting us about this issue.

Actually, there is a sleep mode built into the latest version of the firmware for the U3 docking station. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to disable it.

The dock should become available in a very short time after attempting to access it. On my computer, it almost impossible to notice the spin-up time, but I imagine it varies depending on the hard disk type.
